Lots happened in August. A couple of shows, some training and loads of fun.
Flash is taking the lime light this month. He is such an amazing boy. If you had asked me to predict what he has achieved already this year, what i'm about to share with you would not be on the list.
Flash gained enough points to be awarded Agility Warrant Bronze status (AWB).
Flash gained a clear in jumping and a 1st in agility at the Kennel Club international festival - wow - this was his first 1st place towards grade 6 (you have to have 3 wins, one which must be agility). The following weekend we attended Adams and Flash was on top form again and went on to win two agility classes in the same day taking him into grade 6. Flash is my first dog to take me from grade 3 to grade 6 in four months! wow wow and triple wow.
Below are a couple of photos from the Kennel Club Festival - Flash is such a loving boy and couldn't resist the temptation to give me a kiss whilst we were on the podium.
June & July 2014
During June and July, we haven't been to many shows. Flash broke a nail so meant a couple of weeks off and then we had a couple of very wet weekends. Flash is competing now at Grade 5, we have only done a couple at this level and adjusting to the difficulty of the courses. He did at Rugby get a 3rd at Grade 5 agility. Flash also gained a 7th at Hinckley and two 2nds at dog vegas show, also qualifying for another final at the end of September. Dre has been having poles or jumped contacts! He did gain a clear at Hinckley show and a 4th at dog vegas show. Snoop and Holly continue their successes in anysize clears, Holly getting a 3rd and 4th - bless them. Below are some photos taken by Linda Gore at a show and at training (Thank you Linda) Below is also the video of Flash at the Dog Vegas Novice 3-5 final. I was very surprised I didn't make Flash go wrong as I was very nervous. Flash had the fastest time overall, but just the one pole (mummy's fault). Enjoy the video
