January 2007

With not much going on during the winter, snoop attended a EMDAC show just to keep him fit and also by this time we were addicted to competing. It was a great day with Snoop winning a 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 9th in his classes, and again getting more photo frames.

We went to see the breeder this month and get to pick our puppy who will be called Dre, we are so excited.

Dre at 6 weeks old, so cute and cuddly, and becoming a cheeky monkey

December 2006

In December we decided to go to SBCC agility show to try and get enough points for Snoop to achieve the Agility Warrant status and be able to have AW after his name. It takes a life time for some dogs to achieve this, but snoop was only a few points off and only after one season of competing. Snoop achieved a 2nd, just missing out on the 1st but it was still a great day, and yes snoop gained enough points for his Agility Warrant status.
14th December the puppies from the Caristan breeder are born, We have a choice of four boys to choose from and we have already decided to call him Dre. Can't wait to go and visit in a couple of weeks when they have settled down

October 2006

With the agility season almost to the end, Snoop competed in BFA at Portway getting a 1st with the Leamington royals in a time of 19.68 seconds. Snoop also gained enough points for his Flyball dog Intermediate award. Snoop also attended an EMDAC show and got 3rd in all of his four classes winning a nice set of picture frames.
It was around this time that we were thinking of getting another border collie, so I enquired with the Caristan Breeder, who was expecting her bitch to come into season soon, and the pups to be born just before Christmas (if all went to plan) so watch this space

August 2006

August was one of Snoop's busiest months competing, he attended Aylesbury, KC Festival, Pembrokeshire, Chipping Norton and Beacon agility shows, a YKC Flyball Crufts qualifier and a BFA event at stoneleigh. This was one of Snoop's best months so far. In agility he achieved a 1st, a 2nd, two 4ths, a 5th, a 6th, a 9th, a 10th, a 11th, two 12ths, a 24th, and three Clear rounds. Snoop's 1st place won him out of Elementary, we were so proud of him. Snoop also attended a companion dog show and again got a 4th in the working and pastoral group. In BFA Leamington Royals' gained another 1st place and an even faster time of 20.83, the team just gets faster and better each time we race. In the YKC Crufts Flyball qualifier Snoop ran for a junior member and their team came 1st qualifying them for Crufts in March next year. What an amazing month for Snoop
